For technicians

Keep 82–85%. Never pay for a lead again.

Lead marketplaces charge you $40–120 for an introduction, sell the same job to four other contractors, and leave you bidding against strangers for work you may not win. Fixxo is the opposite shape. One job, one technician, a price already agreed with the customer, and the money already held before you start.

What is different

Built around the technician, because the technician does the work.

No lead fees, ever

You are not charged to see a job, and you are not charged to quote it. Our commission comes out of the completed job value, so we only earn when you do.

The customer has already paid

Funds are authorised and held in escrow before you are dispatched. You never invoice a homeowner, chase a payment, or write off a job you have already done.

The job is scoped before you arrive

You get the photos, the AI's diagnosis, the customer's answers and the agreed price up front. Fewer wasted visits, fewer surprise discoveries, less time quoting for free.

No exclusivity

Keep every channel you already work with. Fixxo is one more source of jobs that pay on time, not a replacement for your business.

You set the rules

Your radius, your minimum job value, the trades and categories you accept, and the days you work. If a job does not suit you, decline it without penalty.

Verification is on us

Licence checks against the Virginia DPOR, insurance confirmation with your carrier, and identity verification are carried out and paid for by Fixxo.

How the money works

Straightforward, and written down.

Figures are indicative for the launch period and confirmed in your written partner agreement before you take your first job. Nothing here overrides that agreement.

What you need to join

  • A valid Virginia trade licence for any licensed work you accept
  • Current general liability insurance
  • A registered business (sole trader acceptable)
  • A smartphone with a camera — that is the whole toolset
  • Two trade references, or a verifiable history of completed work
  • Agreement to the code of conduct and the customer guarantee

What we check

  • Licence status against the Virginia DPOR, re-checked before dispatch
  • Insurance certificate confirmed with the issuing carrier
  • Identity and business registration
  • References and any prior customer complaints

Technician questions

Answered plainly.

Does it cost anything to join?
Nothing. No joining fee, no subscription, no lead fee, no cost to quote. Fixxo is paid 15–18% of the completed job value, and you keep 82–85%.
When do I get paid?
Payment is released from escrow 3–7 days after the customer approves the finished work. The customer's funds are authorised and held before you start, so you are not waiting on a homeowner to pay an invoice.
Do I have to be available full time?
No. You set your radius, minimum job value and the days you work. Fixxo is not exclusive — keep every other channel you already work with, including direct customers.
What licences and insurance do I need?
Whatever your trade legally requires in Virginia, verified against the DPOR, plus current general liability insurance. Fixxo carries out and pays for the verification.
What if a customer refuses to approve the work?
Payment is held while the job is disputed, and Fixxo works the case under a written resolution process. You are given the customer's stated reason and the chance to respond or return before any decision on release or refund.
Can I decline a job?
Yes, without penalty. Declining work does not affect your standing. Repeatedly accepting and then cancelling, however, does.
